I won FIRST PLACE in poetry and HON. MEN. in fiction writing.  In 2006 I came in first, second and hon. mention in poetry, in 2007 I came in second for poetry (a sonnet was first, sigh), 2008 I came in first for poetry (the poem is entitled Who Are We)and honorable
mention for fiction (The Deer That Stalks)

Dara Marks, a Hollywood script evaluator for "A" list through beginner screenplay writers gave a two day workshop "Inside Story: the Power of theTransformational Arc" as well as many other workshops, five agents were there to hear pitches from writers and the energy and enthusiasm as well as information gathering was high
